I had my hair cut and colored by Shirley and was soooo happy. I took in a picture and she gave me an honest opinion on whether the cut and color suited my complextion and face shape. When I left, I was so thrilled to see what she did. I went from a boring blond streaky bob to a really cute brunette razor cut. It was a major change for me as I had always kept the same look, being afraid to trust someone to do a major change. Not only did it turn out great, but I really enjoyed the experience. Thanks Shirley!

I am one of those people that try and save money and wait until I can’t tolerate my hair anymore and then start calling reputable salons to see if someone can squeeze me in. I ran across Creative Colours on the internet, called and was able to get and appointment with Shirley Love. The atmosphere was friendly, cozy and comfortable. Shirley did a great job on my hair. I have one of those funky, short, platinum blonde haircuts which just because it is short, not everyone can perfect the cut. She was also very down to earth, friendly laughed and smiled a lot! You can tell she loves what she does. The salon also carries a product called DermOrganic ( Argon Oil Hair Treatments ) that work wonderful. For any of you that have totally had your hair fried from being bleached, this stuff makes it so soft and healthy looking. I give Shirley and Creative Colours a thumbs up and will continue going there for my pampering needs. P.S. It is affordable too!

Living in Reno I always dreaded getting my haircuts. I was even told at times to get the seven, four (7 on top, 4 on the sides) however, I truly lucked out and found Shirley love, and she worked magic. She listened to what I wanted done and then added her own artistic flare to make it a near flawless cut. I will defiantly be frequenting Creative Colours for all of my salon needs.

I got a great, unique, stylish haircut!!

I had a horrible at home hair botch/crisis. Rule #1- don't dye your own hair! #2- always go to a salon (and make it Creative Colours). I went in with blondish-grey hair and orange spots. It was a disaster to say the least. Tamara and Shirley worked together and saved my hair! They were amazing hairstylists and were very patient with the messed up process of my hair. Tamara is an awesome hair dyer and excels in color correction. Great service that was WAY cheaper than what I expected. Go there, they are awesome!! :D

I went to Creative Colours to find a new Hair stylist. Well, I found Shirley and she has repaired my color and has taken my hair back to a great state. She knows how to match your wants, with her talent and the end product is great hair!

I absolutely love Healing Wizdom and Creative Colours! I've been a client of Tamara's since she opened Healing Wizdom and now several of my family members and friends go there too. I was thrilled when she opened the Creative Colours Salon. She is a fabulous stylist and I am always very happy with my cut and color. Everyone at the Spa and Salon are very friendly, professional and helpful. If Tamara isn't availble, I am more than happy to see one of her associates. They are excellent! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either business to anyone who is looking for a little pampering and relaxation.

Creative Colours ( a part of the Healing Wizdom family--Also great!) is a wonderful hair salon! Tamara is fantastic! I have been going to her for several years and I consistently receive compliments on how great my hair looks--Total strangers even come up to me and ask where I get my hair done. Their product line is great for hair color. I used to have a lot of problems with allergies to hair dye, but since I have been going to Tamara: No Problem!

I moved to Reno 3 years ago and have been through several stylists looking for just the right match. I met Shirley Love at Creative Colours through a promotion she was doing with houseseats.com that offered a first hair cut at no charge. I was so happy with that cut I’ve continued to see her for my subsequent hair care. She’s a great person who is more than willing to listen to what I want, make suggestions for things I might not have considered, then give me a great haircut that keeps me coming back again and again. I recommend her services to anyone looking for a new stylist.

I came all the way from Fresno, Ca to Sparks, NV to have my hair done by Shirley Love and boy was it worth it!! It feels great, looks great, and has given me a whole new attitude about the treatment I should get when I go to a salon. My daughter and I have been looking for someone who was honest about our hair and the style for us. This is harder than you think! After our visit to Creative Colours I feel that I would send anyone there for a honest assessment (the stylist talked my daughter out of cutting 14 inches off her hair) and an incredible cut. The other services offered here are second to none and the knowledge and friendliness of the staff is nothing short of AMAZING!

I just moved here and was looking for a good Salon and hair stylist. This is it!! Shirley is wonderful, she found the perfect colour for me, using great products that are gentle on my hair! The atmosphere is very relaxing, I truly had my personal Spa time!!

Healing Wizdom was by far the best waxing experience that I have had. Tamara was wonderful, and truly helped to melt my stress away – even during a wax session!! I was immediately at ease when I visited the spa – everyone was incredibly friendly. I was recommended products that worked and were far less expensive that some of the useless stuff I have tried. This will be my choice every time I need a wax – and I can’t wait to try out other services as well!

I tried Creative Colours because of their convenient location. I was delighted to find a friendly and conscious environment with products and services you can feel good about. I felt confident in my hair stylist, and am pleased with my new hairdo. I found the price for a wash, cut, and style to be very reasonable ($35) and will definitely return for my next trim

The Ladies of Healing Wizdom ROCK!! Knowledgeable, warm, caring, skillful... I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and try them ~ I ALWAYS feel better after a dose of Healing Wizdom!

I have been with Healing Wizdom since 2001. I have followed Tamara every where! As I was new to aesthetics we had a few instances where my skin didn’t like the procedure, but Tamara always found a way. Now, I have moved on to bikini waxing and I haven’t looked back since. The staff is always so happy to see us and ask how are things are going in our lives. I really feel like they are my extended family. I love all them ladies! The shop is tranquil, relaxing and it feels like a magical kingdom. I once got a massage and ended up falling asleep. Tamara didn’t wake me, she just let me sleep until I woke up! I trust these ladies with my aesthetics needs and my life! I haven’t been to the salon yet, but hope to be in soon!

I've been going to Healing Wizdom for about 3 months now - and it is the only place I will go for a Brazilian. I've had other waxes that were quick, yet painful and left me sore. Tamara has made the experience painless and even relaxing! She takes special care to protect your skin by using soothing oils and tops it off with a great cup of tea! I definitely recommend Healing Wizdom for those who want to have a wonderful, welcoming experience!
