I have been a client at Healing Wizdom for over 4 years and I absolutely love it! Tamara's facials are a wonderfully relaxing combination of energy work, massage and healing. It's more than just "cream on, cream off!" She explains what she's doing to your skin and how it benefits your skin. My skin has never looked better. The spa is a welcoming and a calm environment. When you leave, you feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Everyone there is genuinely interested in making your experience the best ever. I have come to consider Tamara, Mary and Bryna as family. I have never had a bad experience there and I would never consider changing spas for anything.

Creative Colours awesome! I personally go Tamara, she is amazing! I’ve gotten several cuts, highlights, and all over color done there and they were all by far the best I have ever received (and I have colored my hair A LOT). I have wavy hair, so it is especially hard to find a stylist who knows how to cut it that makes it fall perfectly, but my search is over! The salon also uses color that actually enriches your hair and leaves it more nourished than it was before the color, which, needless to say is *awesome*! Tamara is also an aesthetician and does GREAT eyebrows. I showed her a picture and she did a great job carrying it out to fit my face. Creative Colors also offers a great and relaxing environment with a natural vibe.

I love this relaxing and enchanting place! My most 'intensely personal' (aka brazilian) waxing experiences have been quick and without unnecessary pain. The use of tummy treatment, healing energy, and the heated ‘special ingredient’ is a wonderful addition to this procedure and a welcome distraction. It is also great that they include a ingrown hair product and all natural healing soothing after cream. As for eyebrows, ever leave the place you came to have hair pulled out of your face more relaxed than you came in with zero redness, you will here. I leave feeling all clean, healthy and happy, happy, happy. Thank you Tamara, you are the best! My massage experiences have been ABSOLUTELY relaxing and beneficial to my health and mental well-being. This place truly is the best ever!

Tamara is a genius. My hair has never looked or felt healthier. I really like long hair and yet I have fine delicate hair, and when I first came to Tamara it was breaking off without any color for I was afraid of the damage it could cause. With her advice and brilliant care I am able to maintain a regular color with high lift blonds and it is longer than it ever has been, halfway down my back!!! The color and cut are absolutely beautiful! I love it every time I come to see her! Thank you!

I love this place. I have problems with migraines and general stress and I can always count on Jamie or Marian to work out my kinks. The ambience is lovely and the massage oils are created on site. I also love that Bryna always works me in for those last minute eyebrow waxes! Plus, if you need a gift, Tamera has a great selection of unique and inspirational items.

I have gone to several salons to get Brazilian waxes and Tamara is the best and fastest I've ever been too. She does a very thorough job and I love that there is all the little extra...like the warm rocks to hold and the nice relaxing environment which they provide. And if you like tea, they make the best tea for you after your waxing...and there are always little tasty treats, like nuts or chocolate covered cherries. If you want a great experience with Brazilian waxing you have to try this place!

I have a hard time unwinding, but Healing Wizdom is a terrific place to relax. Though I have not yet engaged their other services (such as wax or hairdressing), I often overhear other customers gush about their experiences. I carry stress from classes and commuting, which often means lugging loads of books on my back all over town when I am not trying to commit them to memory. I currently receive massages from Jamie at Healing Wizdom. She has a magic touch that melts away the stress. Jamie creates a warm, comfortable environment. I feel as though the whole time is devoted just to me. Jamie is very open to feedback, and reminds me not to be shy but speak up if I prefer a different move or pressure. This has created a friendly rapport, which I have never had with any other masseuse. I never feel rushed. After every massage, I am presented with a cup of tea and an invitation to sit until I am ready to go. The staff are always exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, working with me to ensure I am well cared for and content. I highly recommend Healing Wizdom to anyone looking for a worth-every-penny massage at a great local business.

I love Healing Wisdom. I have been there several times (mostly for facials but also for messages and eyebrow waxes) My favorite thing about Healing Wisdom is the ambiance. Its so relaxing and definitely something special and different from any of the other spa I have been to. A lot of it is purple, and sparkly, there are fairies everywhere, very soothing music, little fountains and lots of velvet! Something else that is great about Healing Wisdom is that its very small so its super cozy. Everyone who works there is so friendly and nice. When you are done with your service there is always a cup of yummy tea waiting for you. I love that extra little touch! I have never had anything done at Healing Wisdom that I wasn't happy with. And whenever I leave I can't wait to come back! Another of Reno's little hidden gems that I'm so glad I found!

I am a 48 year old and have, for some 33 yrs., had a chronic neuromuscular problem affecting my middle back between my shoulder blades which causes severe muscle spasms which in turn affects the spinal nerves and causes pain in my stomach. This condition has been escalating in severity over the years, sometimes the pain becoming so unbearable as to cause Emergency Room visits. Normal daily tasks could bring on a spasm at any time and have pretty much kept me from having a normal life. The conventional medical treatment has been prescription muscle relaxers and pain killers, one of which was very powerful, potentially dangerous and only work marginally. In looking for alternative treatment I found Healing Wizdom and Tamara Marshall's medical massage. I had my first massage on March 25, 2008 which was wonderful and the first of continuing monthly treatments. The massages have greatly reduced the severity and frequency of the spasms and also have enabled me to greatly reduce my dependence and dosage of the pain medications. I no longer take muscle relaxers and the powerful pain killer and am able to lead a much, much more active life which is wonderful. Also, by days end my heels were aching. Since the beginning of the massage treatments that pain has disappeared. Tamara's medical massage has done wonders for me!

I had my first massage with Jaime at Healing Wizdom on October 28 2008. Previously had about 2 years worth of hot stone massages with a private provider. I immediately felt welcomed at Healing Wizdom and thought that the ambiance there is very relaxing and perfectly suited for a massage. The interior of the spa feels a bit like an enchanted forest and Jaime did a great job of providing the exact level of pressure I expected. She was able to releave all of the tension in my lower back and shoulder areas. Healing Wizdom provides their own line of high quality oils and lotions, which you can also purchase in their store. At the end of the massage, Jaime offered me a great cup of hot herbal tea and I walked away sure to return for more!
