Setting was clean and sanitary. I felt completely comfortable dropping our fur baby here fir surgery. Roxy was spayed here, her stitch was minimal, and she bounced back within days, extremely satisfied and will reccommend.

Words can’t express how much I hate or recommend against Dr Ron’s Animal hospital. I will never come to this place again if my pets life depended on it because if it did they would be better off at home. I called ahead of time for my pets emergency and told them the situation I was told that she would be seen right away. Since I wouldn’t sign a form giving them permission to take her in back and do anything they want without consulting me (charging up to $500) they left us in the lobby, with an empty clinic, with my dog bleeding out all over the floor. Everything from the front end services, to the vet herself was horrific! I ended up just walking out because I knew and saw how they cared so little about my dogs well being. So basically if you want to pay $80 to take your dog to the vet for everyone of the staff members to disrespect and neglect you and your pets wellbeing this is the place to go!


They have expired licenses in there office, and are in violation of numerous veterinary board laws and regulations. See photos for more complaints on how horrible this practice is. There are over 100 complaints

We arrived for our 3pm appointment after following instructions to not feed our pup after 8am and with a stool sample in hand. We were told we did not have an appointment and that we needed to pay an ADDITIONAL $33.00 to set a vet. Since this was not an emergency (and we felt we were being scammed since last time we were in we had a charged for X-ray not rendered and had bill adjusted) we left.
This vet is good for emergencies at night and on weekends only.

I have used Dr. Ron's for years. The staff is very friendly, the tech's are fast when drawing blood or giving shots. The vet staff are very knowledgeable & usually give options to what care you can do. When are dog needed to be put down due to severe cancer, Dr. Ron came to our home to give final shot which was so nice to have the dog not having to be upset just going into the office. The shot clinics are very reasonable . Although the animal does have to be a patient & seen recently.

Big thanks to Dr. Ron's. We found a stray dog on our lawn last night, he had no collar or name tag so we kept him in our backyard overnight. I called Dr. Ron's and explained the situation and asked if we could bring him in to see if he was chipped. They told us yes just stop in. They scanned him and found he had a chip, they looked it up and called the company to get the owners info and then they called the owner and told them we had the dog and to come down to their office to pick him up. The staff was so helpful and genuinely wanted to help us reunite Duke with his Humans they weren't put out or bothered to help!!!!

Everyone was very friendly. The doctor was extremely helpful and thoroughly explained everything in great detail so we could understand.

I was very pleased with the work they did on my dog just this past Friday. I took my dog in for an emergency and turned out that she had some major teeth issues and as result she had an infection and turned out she had to have 3 teeth extracted. I cant really speak on price comparison because I didn't call around to other vets to find out, it was expensive but I would have paid way more than that to make sure my Gigi was getting the best treatment. Most of my dealings were with Kara in the front office and she was very capable, informative and very sympathetic in her communication with me, of course as a pet owner I think the worst and how we are treated when we are worried makes a difference, she gets 5 starts from me. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I reviewed my quote 3 different times and all 3 times they were double charging me, when I dropped my dog off in the morning Kara kindly reviewed the estimate with me, removed what was not supposed to be on there and the double billing and when I went to pick my dog up later that afternoon I was being double billed again, for the same thing that Kara had removed that morning. I also felt that when I picked up my dog I spoke to Amy asked her some basic questions (like what teeth were extracted) and she didn't know the answer, I asked her some other questions and she had to go back and ask the hygienist, now maybe that is normal? Either way, just my observation. Bottom line and whats most important to me is the care they gave my dog and they treated her very well, I trusted in what they recommended and will go back again. I always check my bills for errors and would just recommend that others do to. Kara was very nice and even called to check in the next day to see if my dog was feeling better. Thanks Kara for making my experience a pleasant one and thanks DR. Ron and staff for taking care of my Gigi.

Unfortunately our almost 10 year old Rott became ill very quickly and was close to death. I came in late at night with him and Dr Rons staff was great. They helped carry him from the car, they were extremely compassionate and understanding. We all knew he would have to be put to sleep and Dr Ron and his team could not have handled it any better. I highly recommend taking your pets to Dr Rons. Cannot say enough nice things about how they handled a very difficult time for us. Thank you!

I have been a fan of Dr.Ron for over a decade. He has extended my cats 9 lives to 15 at least. Spider bites, urine crystals, etc. He is incredibly talented with treating animals & his Hospital is now open after hours & Sats Suns. Very helpful this past Sunday when my cat got in a backyard brawl w/ a misc animal & it won. Dr.Ron had her fixed up in no time. I highly recommend.

I've been going to Dr. Ron's for over 12 years, and I wouldn't be if my Pets weren't receiving top notch care. There is a large staff here and everybody is friendly and helpful. You can see their genuine concern for your pet's well being. They are also kind and very gentle with the ones you love so much. They are thorough when explaining the treatment plan for your pet, why they need the treatment, and exactly what each and every charge will be, *before* you agree to the treatment. I would and DO highly recommend Dr. Ron's!

This place is amazing. My Lucy had a recent lump on her back right leg, I noticed 2 weeks ago. This is her second lump in 2 years so I was concerned. The prior lump on her ribs ended up being nothing just fatty lump.
Dr Ron and his staff are always so friendly and explain everything...what they think it can be, what tests they can run, the outcome of the tests...
I go for the least invasive method and they tell me in less then 10 minutes that it was just some more fatty lumps.
This place is going to service all my animal needs

My boy River developed an ear infection- I noticed it and felt bad for him constantly shaking his head... my normal vet was closed and I was glad to find Dr Rons office open till midnight and they were able to see him right away. Dr Ron and his caring staff worked quickly to get him comfortable and address his ear infection. Thank you Dr Ron for providing the option of medial care for our loved ones well in to the night.

Dr.ron and his amazing,friendly,knowledgeable staff been helping us with our havanese named SCOUT. Every time I need them they are there. Currently trying to figure out what is up with allergies. Came home with a sample kibble z d . Thinking scout would not eat it. Well she gobbled it up immediately. Nail trims are perfect. Her ears are all better. I am so relieved for Dr. Ron and the other Dr's. For the techs THANK YOU.

Most caring vet's office I have ever used. Lucky is one lucky dog to have Dr. Shmueli as .

We have had mixed results with Dr. Ron's. OK for routine vaccines but not good on more complicated cases. Conflicting vet advice based on which vet you get. There are better vets in Simi Valley.

Dr. Ron is awesome! I brought my 10 year old Lab in for an eye exam.Dr. Ron sat on the floor with her!! It put us both at ease!Thank you to all the wonderful staff for making our visits stress free!

Went here today to have my dog put to sleep. The staff were very professional and knew how to handle the situation. I highly recommend this place. They made us feel comfortable and treated us very professionally during a tough sad time. I will never forget this day. The staff knew how to take care of us on a very difficult day like this. This place took care of us 110%. Thank you Dr.Ron and staff. You knew how to handle a difficult situation. Thank you for handling our dog very gently.

Once again, Dr Ron did not disappoint. He is very caring towards both myself and my dogs.
The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. My King Charles is a bit of baby, the technician changed the needles to a smaller gage so it wouldn't be so painful for her. Thank you again!

Dr. Ron and his staff are as good as it gets. The staff is professional and friendly. Dr. Ron is a good man. We recently had to put our 14 year old Corgi to sleep and we wanted to do it on our farm/garden where she loved to hang out with me and take naps. Dr. Ron came out personally, and transitioned her right there in her favorite spot. He was kind and compassionate and the experience was "spiritual" and less emotionally painful for our family. Through our sadness, we also feel joy in that we were able to put her to sleep in a place that was special to her and to us. Thank you Dr. Ron.
