Overall it was really great.

Overall Staff were very friendly, room was very clean, shower had instant hot water. The TV's were nice big, LED & mounted. Stay was so comfy I highly recommend to stay if you want a nice big room with great service.

Good Price, Clean Room Condition, Comfort & Location.

My husband our pooch and I love staying at Windwater it's clean in a beautiful location and prices are very reasonable and of course most important of all rooms are clean.

I recently stayed at this hotel in the Jacuzzi suite, and it was amazing and only for 149.99. Surely the best value and best suite I've seen in a while!!! I definitely recommend this hotel to couples, or anniversary enthusiast.

We have been going to South Padre Island for over 35 years. first time at the Windwater. The room was huge with frig and microwave. We walked aroud in the evening and the paseo along the canal was very nice, guests were fishing right out their back doors. I'm sure there are catfish, flounder and sand trout looks like a very nice private and family friendly extra. The linen and towels were equal to any budget hotel we have stayed at. The beach activities retaurants and nightlife on the Island.

Comfortable and affordable, pleasant and proficient staff, any problems were quickly seen to. Our dog was welcome without any hassel. We have stayed here for 4-5 weeks for the last 6 years, present management is always improving the accomadations, the beds are very comfortable. Public access to the main beach is but a few minutes away and the hotel pool area is well maintained.

I was looking for a hotel and it was the right price. All others were priced over $100.00 and i got it for $79.99. I enjoyed the stay and was very pleasurable. I had a view of the bay and was very calming. I have already recommended this hotel to my friends and family.

Nice property. Great customer service, rooms are updated, plasma tv's and great parking. I highly recommend this place for anyone look for an inexpensive place to stay on the bay on South Padre. Easy access and close to all clubs and bars on the island.

Hotel as excellent service and the staff are very friendly. The environment makes you feel safe has lots of surveillances very helpful. Hot free breakfast and wifi connection is the Best. Rooms are clean and odorless, the beds are the most comfortable. I would definitely rent a room here the next time I come back. Affordable stay with all the service it has it's worth it!

Really big spacious suite! There was two bed rooms three beds two pullout sofas a full kitchen! Was great

I enjoyed being able to fish from their pier. Pool was clean.

Enjoyed the view from the hotel, plus the fishing right on spot. Walking distance from shops and restaurants.

The staff was friendly, it was cheap and had breakfast. The location was outstanding for fishing. i will definitely be back here soon.

This is not the Taj Mahal, but it is a great value for what you pay. Our king suite was on the bay, and it was a very pleasent expierience. Clean, good air, adequate space for the kids, everything I would expect for what we paid.

The location was great, room was large and had a fridge and microwave. It was quiet and the staff was friendly. The parking lot is small, but we always had a spot. Overall, I would go back to this hotel!

For the star rating it is good and it does have a good view. Very convenient to get to and to go places around the island.

The pet policy was the best i could find and i called around. The free breakfast was not anything spectacular but for the price you cant expect fresh scrambled eggs and bacon at this price. The view of the channel from the private balcony was nice an.d you can fish right behind the hotel. The beach was an easy walk and was absolutely magnificent. We had a delightful stay.
