This year was my second experience at Pinegrove with my with my 4-year-old daughter. At first, I was a bit apprehensive about making the trip without any other friends with kids like last year. This year was even better than last year, I'm happy to report. I was happily surprised that my daughter made friends with some great families, and I didn't have to worry about continuously entertaining her by myself. Also, there were so many activities to partake of. The only one I really missed was skiing which was an amazing experience last year. This year, the pool was much much warmer than last year. The trail was much longer at 45 mins. Also, I went riding 3 times and was elated that the trail was changed to curtail the monotony of the route. This year, the wranglers added some much needed to the line dancing. The new hotel management is doing an awesome job at changing some minuses from last year. I'm looking forward to visiting with Pinegrove again next year.

I have been coming to pinegrove on and off for 10 years. We come for the riding and have enjoyed it every year. The wranglers are pleasant, professional and most of all keep guests safe. I have read reviews as to the accommodations and cleanliness and am perplexed by the expectations. This is a VERY VERY economical vacation. I have stayed at rocking horse ranch NY. (better accommodations the riding not as good). I can take my family of 4 here 2 times a year versus rocking horse once. I ask are the kids having 2x the fun?? NO. So for the price you get: fed, entertained, accommodations, good horseback riding, and a nice staff. Think Red Roof Inn. Not the Ritz (there are amazing dude ranches all over for thousands of dollars....if you want that, then you'll pay for it!!). So my advice is the old adage you get what you pay for...... This place is basic, not fancy but, it has all the basics of a ranch and 1/2 the

Pinegrove Ranch was everything we wanted, and more! My entire family (16 of us) checked in for an entire week and had the time of our lives! Could there be some renovations; yes, but overall it is a great time for families of all ages. The staff was more than accomodating and never left me wondering if I could or couldn't do something. There was ALWAYS something happening for the guests to do. I had my fill of bingo, scavenger hunts, trivia and much more! We were introduced to new sports and games that are now a favorite, rode horses and played laser tag, and had a campfire or outdoor fun each night; AND we got it all for an amazing price! Like I said, the rooms could use some updating, and they should definitely install a central air conditioner in the lobby, but Pinegrove is definitely worth the drive and the stay. We have already booked our trip for next year; it was so worth it!

I had first come to Pinegrove as a child with my family, and although I can't remember a lot (ecxept for never wanting to leave the horses!), I think I had just as much fun this past week in my mid-twenties with my mom and grandmother. We took a long weekend away to the perfect place for me as a horse lover. As long as you aren't looking for fancy accomodations, you will love the beautiful upstate NY scenery, the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and the friendly staff. Pinegrove has a lot of different activities for all age groups, so we all found something to do from relaxing by the pool, trying the rock wall, playing bingo, and enjoying the free cocktail hour before dinner.

We really enjoyed the instruction of Gloria for Line Dancing in the "Bull Room", we learned more with her in an hour then at the places back at home. The ice skating rink was a blast. For us our night ended with laser tag then a bon fire followed by an entertainer in the "Bull Room"(we had a wildlife exhibit-it was awesome). If your looking for a get-away with a significant other and/or the kids, you won't be disappointed. Furthermore, I would like to show my gratitude for the owner, David for his support for the "Sandy Storm" victims by rooming them at his resort to rid the chill in their bodies by the fire in the lobby and freeing their minds with laughter. Lastly, for his continued support of all members of the United States Military by offering discounted rates for all those who serve.

I enjoyed my stay at the ranch. There is so much to do and everyone at the ranch is very kind and accommodating. If you have children, this is a wonderful place for them. I went alone with my little dog and enjoyed the horseback riding, the food, the snack bar with hot dogs and soft serve ice cream, the karaoke and the overall beauty of the place with a mountain backdrop.

Everyone of us had a great time. Since I loved it so much my girl scout troop was looking to worktowards a bigger trip and I suggested Pine Grove. We gave for the first time in the summer. Everyone had a great time. So much so that we decided to do it again this summer. Once again we all had an wonderful time. Francesco, our waiter was so patient and friendly. The barn staff along with Mike went way above and beyond to make my girls feel special and comfortable. My husband and I decided at the last minute to go to pine grove for Easter. I wanted to go for 3 nights and he was very apprehensive so we went for 2. After the vacation was over he said he can't wait to go back. This the person who didn't want to go at all!

I would recommend this resort to anyone that wants to have a good time. The service is great, the workers are very nice, and... Well, just come check this place out. Everyday they have sporting tournaments and at night there are shows with comedians, magicians, and more. The comedians are very funny and are actually famous too. One funny ventriloquist there knew Jeff Dunham!!! This resort also has an amazing lake for paddle boating and fishing. I loved this place, and I hope that you will love it too.

We went to Pinegrove for Veteran's Day Weekend. And, as always, had a wonderful time. The riding was perfect, the rooms are nice and clean and the service is always A #1. The entire staff is so pleasant and helpful. We always feel welcomed when we go. We had a great long weekend. Got to enjoy riding every day, the specially planned activities and the shows at night. It is a great way to relax and "kick back" and just have fun. We are planning our next long weekend for the Spring. Enjoy!

I have been going to Pinegrove Ranch for almost 25 years. It all started with my oldest daughter who adored the place and now with my younger ones (teens now). This was our first trip in the winter. We have been there for all the holidays throughout the years, so we decided to try New Year's weekend for a change. We were not disappointed. As usual, there were tons of daily activities and entertainment which, by the way, is all included in the price. You have Horseback riding, heated indoor pool, miniature golf, hay rides, snow tubing, ice skating and so much more (it would take up too much space to cover them all). The food is amazing. If anything, I think they over feed you. We tend to skip lunch so we can enjoy our breakfasts and Dinners that much more. Free cocktail hour (coketails for the kids), which also has snacks included.

There is a snack bar that is open all day except during mealtimes. If you want to sleep late, you can always get something to eat from the snack bar. If you have kids, you don't have to worry about the kids getting bored. There is literally tons of things to do. My teens love going there also because it is a safe, fun place. They like to pretend they don't know us while we are there. They make friends fast and hang out with the other kids all day. I find it is also a beautiful place to take photos and go on nature walks (yes, even in the winter, as long as you bundle up). You will not be disappointed!!!

It was just the two of us and we had a great time. I'd read poor reviews after I'd booked the trip so I was wary but immediately upon arrival we wondered aloud what people were talking about. The main lobby/reception area has really fun decor. When booking the room I mentioned my husband's birthday. We had an upgraded room with a fireplace and a banner, balloons & gift waiting for him. The food was good. I don't know why others complained. The meat was tender and not at all tough as others have said. We enjoyed our horse ride and the wranglers were attentive to my fear of not having been on a horse in 25yrs. The magician was a cute show but when he was done and the families retired for the night, the nightclub was dead. We made friends with a large group and listened to music with them in the main lounge area. There are many activities scheduled to round out the day. We will definitely be back with family & friends.

Our Santa Fe room was basic, but clean and spacious. I had called earlier to ask about a bed rail for our toddler and it was already set up when we got there. The staff is great. We especially loved our server, Curtis. He was kind and attentive even though he was so busy with many other tables. There were so many activities that kept every member of our party entertained. Please note that the 'pony rides' for the 7 and under crowd are not ponies! They are horses. I would suggest bringing in your own helmet for your kids. The food was plentiful, although would have loved a better selection of healthier fare. We had a lovely time and know that we will back again. The 3 days was not nearly long enough; we'll stay longer next time!

We had a blast! There's loads of activities for the kids and I was thrilled to see my children having so much fun. Check out there website and you'll see all they have to offer for a great price. We can't wait to go back, food and staff were terrific. Don't miss the evening shows, they were very entertaining for kids and adults. We made great memories at Pinegrove. I've been to many other places but none compare to Pinegrove because of the multitude of activities. Everyday was an adventure, my kids enjoyed everything they had to offer. It was nonstop fun for my children and I will never forget the expressions on my children's faces as they enjoyed one activity after the other.... To many to list... The horse rides, heated slide pool, bouncy pillow, rock wall, lake, paddle boats, family games, egg toss, pudding contest, park, petting zoo.... Just checkout the website!

I brought my 12-year-old son and 6 of his friends to Pinegrove last weekend for a special celebration. They were busy, and well-fed, the entire weekend. All of the staff was friendly, and the activities were well-run and fun. The kids (and adults) all enjoyed the indoor pool, giant bounce pillow, contests, shows, bonfire, snack bar, and so much more! Thank you to Paul, Jeff, Eve, Mike, Betsy, Don, and ALL OF THE OTHERS who made us feel like "part of the Pinegrove family".

See you again in August!

My family just returned from Pinegrove and we had an amazing, relaxing and carefree get away! I really must say the best part of this whole trip was the staff. They are really what made this experience top notch. The manager Paul went above and beyond to accommodate us all and make us feel like family! I am an athlete and have a very strict diet I follow, Paul made sure to bring out the chef Walter who was the most amazing and accommodating chef I have ever encountered! I was nervous about going away with my dietary needs and it was more than what I expected! I was even able to get to their gym to make sure my workouts were completed before he fun day began!! We had so much fun horse back riding, swimming, playing outdoors, hiking and so much more! Perfect and amazing experience! Thank you Paul and staff we will see you soon!

We went to Pinegrove for the first time this year based on friend's recommendation.

My wife, 17month old daughter, myself, and another couple with similar age child.

It was a lot of fun as long as your expectations are properly set.

Grounds are beautiful and surrounding area is stunning. I am sure it is amazing in the summer. We took our daughter horseback riding and she loved it. Had a blast snow tubing and playing with the animals at the petting zoo. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Love the fact that you get a table assigned for the stay and it was all set with high chairs for kids for breakfast and dinner. Had a good time at the pool as well. We were a little underwhelmed with the food at first, but it worked out great with delicious breakfast and good dinners.

But over all, it's a fun place and we would go back again in the summer. Outdoor pool and play areas look like they would be a lot of fun.
