We are first time 'family ranchers' and my kids were so excited to go. Pinegrove's staff was so friendly and accommodating to each guest. Each day there was a list of activities such as Bingo, relay races, and archery which kept us busy all day long. Each night had a featured entertainer and a DJ for everyone to dance and have a blast. In addition, the horseriding trails and lessons were the highlight of my children's day. I cannot say enough positive things about this wonderful hotel. I really believe that we made great memories and bonded as a family. I KNOW we will be back and this may become a family tradition. Like my youngest daughter ( age7) said, " This is the best place in the whole world - I don't even want to go to Disney...let's come back to Pinegrove instead!"

I have been coming here for almost 12 years. I have a family of 5 plus there are always tag alongs. This is an all inclusive working mans resort. We always have an incredible time and make our own fun. The meals are pretty good and with the snack bar open all day who could complain. There is daytime and night time activities. The night shows are fun and not Las Vegas act, just a couple laughs for the kids and adult alike. To sum it up when you are on a budget you can go to one of the other ranches and pay almost twice as much or close your eyes to some of the imperfections and enjoy your stay.I would rather have my family have fun in a WARM AND FRIENDLY PLACE than a pristine ranch where I am a number.

Staff treated us very, very, well. Made us feel at home. Manager was very helpful with a financial issue of mine. Excellent place to go for the weekend. Had a good time.

I used to go to Pinegrove with Eddie Colon. It's was a great family place. I met my husband there sorry to say I never took my children there. Would love to go back. I'm still married to the man I fell in love with at Pinegrove. Pine grove was always family oriented. I loved going there.

You will not go hungry. It is not 5 star meals, but they are very good (beats cooking everyday). The horse barn staff are very friendly and helpful.

We went there during Christmas eve and met up with Santa Claus on site! The boys and their friends had NON-STOP FUN doing all the outdoor stuff at record breaking warm temperature that in wifi, which ended up being a real big plus because we did not go on vacation for them to be playing their electronics in the room. Cocktail hour included a chocolate fondue for the kids and wine for the adults! Then dinner offered a number of selections and the kids were not restricted to having just kids meals. Some of us even had TWO entrees. Of course, after the kids tired out from swimming they had all the ice cream, hot dogs and fries to their hearts content. Sure enough, we went back again in February with more friends. This time we got to do snow tubing, and ice skated on the pond for the first time! what an experience!

I can't say enough about how fun our weekend was. All of the employees were happy, eager to please and truly care about our stay! Can not wait to go back!!!! The meals were all delicious, the activities were fun, there were many to choose from. The kids loved the Coke-tail party! Halloween weekend was lots of fun! Kids really enjoyed the horse back ride too! Next time they want to try paint ball!

I went up to The Pinegrove on MLK weekend 2 weeks ago with family and friends. Started going up in 2003 for summer vacation but now go up in the winter too. New chef was a welcome addition and the food in the dining room is a huge improvement. Once again we were all kept busy with lots of activities and stuff to do. Betsy at the front desk was great when we checked in. Our waitress was excellent. Stayed in the Dakotas. Everyone had a great time. Thank you Pinegrove for another fun weekend. See you in July!!!

I took the Grandkids back to the Pinegrove for the 5th time over Christmas break. They had a ball again. There favorite thing is the daily dodgeball game. The three of them all played but my 11 years old Grandson really enjoyed it. He played with a group of kids for 2 hours the 2nd of our 3 days there.

We returned for a family vacation for the first time in 11 years! We drove from Orlando with 11 family members. We had an absolute BLAST! Our days overflowed with fun activities like snow tubing, horseback riding, paintball, swimming, laser tag and so much more! The food is top notch and we were really treated as though we were family. The staff is friendly, warm and ready to serve. The owner David greeted us at dinner and remembering us called us by name. That was really telling of the love and care that goes into every person that vacations there. The shows at night kept us laughing for days and the New Years Eve party was amazing!! We cannot wait! Thank you David and the staff from Pinegrove! You are the BEST!

I have been coming to Pinegrove for almost 5 years. In the last year, I have noticed a big change in the staff. They are much more friendlier and truly like interacting with the guests. My 8 year old daughter asked me why everyone who worked there was so friendly. Paul the general manager really takes the time to make sure everyone is having a good time. The riding is amazing, once you get on the trail. The food is good. The kids love the fondue at the cocktail hour and we were happy to see new games in the arcade. There is an abundance of activities for the non riders too! I have already made reservations for our next trip. See you soon Pinegrove!

Anthony was a great waiter. He kept us entertained, and we look forward to coming to dinner, lunch, and breakfast.

We brought our entire high school, consisting of approximately 250 students to the Pinegrove for a full day trip. We were incredibly pleased with the service and the experience provided by the Pinegrove. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all of our needs. The facilities are beautiful and charming (with a Catskills feel, of course) and our students really enjoyed the trip. Of particular note was the pumpkin launch, which our students thoroughly enjoyed. Our students were occupied for the entire day, and the Pinegrove staff provided additional activities to engage the students. Thank you for an amazing trip!

Once we settled in and the kids learned where everything was, the fun began. They enjoyed the dodge ball, bingo, and other games quite a bit. Paintball and laser tag was awesome and my boys and husband went almost every day. The horse rides were well organized and the cowgirls and boys were really helpful and instructive. The meals were good and plentiful. The night time entertainment was great family time. the illusionist especially was fun. The campfire was really nice and we hung out by it late. Also loved the cocktail hour and line dance lesson. We are booking a trip again this year. The cost was well worth the trip. If you want a fun adventure this is a good start.

Our room was clean and the facilities were fine. The horseback riding was great. The skiing was perfect for beginner skiers. The hot stone massage was fantastic. We frequently checked the daily list of activities and tried to fit in as many things as possible (archery, rock climbing, karaoke, bingo). The all inclusive food was plentiful and the nightly cocktail hours were a nice freebie. The icing on the cake is that we forgot a jacket in the lobby and the resort already confirmed they are mailing it back to us!

My daughter and I spent 3 days in pinegrove , we have a ball there my daughter loved everything . it's clean the food is good, the cocktail party at 5 pm was nice we sat in a bench and laugh watching the kid eating the chocolate fountain , the shows at night were nice and fun . Horse riding was nice the view is so beautiful, you can bring your drinks if you want or buy one .the stuff was nice and friendly it was our second time there and we will go again .

I arrived Thanksgiving day & at dinner was greeted by the owner, Dave who hand-carved the turkeys himself for the guests!! What a lovely treat!! That set the tone for a wonderful wholesome fun filled weekend! The guests themselves spoke volumes as almost all of them were not only repeat guests but families & couples who have been coming back for some10-20 yrs!

I am so thankful with our 3 days at Pinegrove, it was very fun everyone was so nice and my group really liked every single part of it. Because of this, we are planning to come back again next year, this time bringing more people and kids, we all enjoyed our stay and we plan to come back next year, thank you and we can't wait to be there again. Perfect for spending fun quality time with friends and family.

We stayed there at the end of August and can't say enough positive things about it even though it needs some updating. I knew this from reading the reviews and in fact, it didn't bother me at all. Our room was spacious, our housekeeper was amazing, and the activities were endless. We enjoyed the pool, pingpong, bocce ball, tennis, horseback riding, airhockey, the arcade...the list is endless. Loved it so much we rebooked for next year when we checked out.

This time my middle grand daughter ( 11 yrs. old) and I went to the ranch, we purchased dinner with the day pass. She really enjoyed the visit, managed to get a trail ride in. My granddaughter is a vegetarian and was very satisfied with her food. Food was plentiful for us both. She had a great time with all activities and we both enjoyed the magician comedian (the night's entertainment). A lot of great memories were made again.
