Provided by YP.comStay away from these guys! They will take your money, but no flowers get delivered. We placed an order on May 11, 2012, and paid $25.94 for next day delivery. Here it is May 15, 2012, and still no delivery. When I called and complained they said it was the fault of UPS and were not responsible for the problem. What a bunch of BS.
They have their web page rigged to make you think they are a local company. Try this: Google "florists in Lacey, WA" (or any other incorporated place) and the search results will lead you to their web page that is totally deceptive. The bot or script in their web uses the city that was part of the Google key word search to substitute into their HTML to make it look like they are a local company. They are in NYC! Very deceptive! They should be shut down. They are lying crooks.
I am disputing the charges to my credit card with my bank right now. If you got sucked into their scam, I suggest you do the same.

Provided by YP.comEvery one of the negative reviews Avas gets is completely deserved. I never review business but I felt compelled to tell the rest of the world how terrible Avas actually is. Flowers were supposed to be sent on Saturday May 12th, it is now Tuesday 15th and still no delivery. I left simple instructions to leave flowers on the doorstep if nobody was home. And here we are three days later and still no flowers on the doorstep. I called and waited for an hour to cancel my order, only for them to tell me the best they could do is a 50% refund. I has some not so nice words for them and immediately called my credit card company and disputed the transaction. I suggest everyone who has been burned by this company do exactly the same thing as I have already received my money back. Bottom line is that Avas Flowers doens't even deserve one star and is a complete scam if you ask me. I ended up calling a local florist and flowers will be deivered today...GUARENTEED. Save yourself the headache and go local. Hope this reviews keeps others from making my mistake.

Customer Service said they tried delivery on Friday but no one was home. They never re-attempted delivery. I want my money back. They are a scam. Never order from Ava's Flowers! They don't even deserve one star....

Provided by YP.comThis business, if you can call it a business, doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating! TOTAL SCAM! Do not use Avas Flowers unless you want a headache with poor customer service (of course they also can hardly speak any english) and no flowers delievered! They are currently giving us the run around about a refund and if you ask to talk to a manager the manager is always out and they say they have no way of contacting him or the whoever it is that is supposed to deliver the flowers either. Worst place ever! I would have had better luck paying a 10 year old to pick some flowers from the back yard and deliever those.

Provided by YP.comDon't EVER use AVA's Flowers. On Tuesday, May 1 (10 days ahead of time!), I did an on-line order for a Mother's Day assortment to be delivered on Friday, May 11. They never delivered ANYTHING on May 11 and then, had the gall to tell me they would be delivered on Tuesday, May 15 due to a "printing error". Yeah, right ! Everyone wants a Mother's Day delivery to arrive two days AFTER Mother's Day. Avoid these thieves at all cost. I'm reporting them to the BBB and the Federal Trade Commission. Judging by all these other victims here, I wonder how they're even in business at all ! That's what I get for trying to avoid FTD's variable service-fees depending on the day you want it delivered. I would have been better off getting robbed by them instead of these clowns !

Provided by YP.comDo not EVER use this florist for anything! I ordered flowers for a friends memorial service online while i was out of town. I thought that everything was fine, I received my email confirmation. The memorial service came and went and no flowers. So I called the 800 number listed on the invoice and waited on hold for 11 minuets. When some one finally picked up the phone she seemed put off with me calling her and she was actually laughing about something that happened around her?? So she looked up my order and said that they had been trying to contact me since I placed the order. Contact me? You have my email address, because you sent me a confirmation of the order. How were you "trying to contact me?" by calling the phone number on the order. WHAT??? I only entered the phone number for my credit card. I am out of town, so of course I am not there to get your message!!!! I asked her why they did not try to contact me at the email address and all she could say was that they called the phone number. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER use this company for anything! They are rude and don't follow up correctly if they need to get a hold of the customer.

I placed an order to be delivered to the hospital on April 18,2012 it was suppose to be there by noon. at 300 I contacted them and they said it was in route, should arrive within 30 minutes. I figured all was well. On April 23, 2012 I recieved a phone call from them stating that they were unable to deliver the arrangement did I have a new address for shipping. I was furious! They immediately blamed the florist and promised to have a new upgraded arrangement prepared and delivered on April 24th. I accepted. I contacted the originasl florists who they stated made the mistake, to learn that none of this was true. The original florist contacted AVAS on wednesday and explained the problem that they were unable to deliver b/c the hospital refused service. AVAS stated hold the order we will contact the customer and provide you with a new address. AVAS never contacted me. Rather the florist contacted them a second time on April 23, 2012, this is when AVAS contacted me. As far as the upgraded arrangement, also untrue. I was on the phone with the florist when the order came in... no mention of new or upgraded arrangement. Rather AVAS attempted to send me an arrangement that was 5 days old. This was unacceptable. I immediately contacted AVAS to cancel my order, which they did not originally accept. I told them I would refuse service and file a complaint with anyone that would listen. Lets see how long it takes to get my refund.... Totally unprofessional (liars) and horrible customer service! I only gave them one start b/c I had to in order to move forward with this review

Provided by YP.comDo not order flowers from this place! I had picked out a flower arrangement that cost me $50 and had it sent to my friend who was in the hospital. When I went to visit her that night, I saw the flowers and was so disappointed! The flowers were not worth the money paid and they looked nothing like the arrangement I picked out online! Will never order from this place again.

Provided by YP.comDo not order with this business. Stunned by the lack of professionalism. I was contacted several times via email that there were problems with my order. I responded the first time as quickly as possible but stated in my reply that I preferred to be accessed by phone. This request was ignored and emails continued. I checked in the next day to see if my order was delivered and found out it was cancelled. They claim that I called in to cancel. I did not. Confused and infuriated. WILL NOT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. Lesson learned.

Provided by YP.comAPPALLING customer service. I cancelled an order 4 MINUTES after accidentally submitting it online, and didn't receive any response. So I called the customer service and someone assured me the order was cancelled. Then they went ahead and delivered the order anyway, left it on my sister's porch, and charged me full price. I finally got the delivery fee refunded, but I was still charged for flowers I was assured would not be delivered.
Avoid if you don't want a headache and a hole in your wallet.

Provided by YP.comI ordered flowers from Avas flowers the day before my Grandmother's viewing. I was assured they would be there the following day, in time for the viewing and that I would receive an email confirmation upon delivery. They were not delivered in time for the viewing so upon leaving the funeral home that evening I called Avas to find out where they were. I was told they would be delivered shortly and the driver would send an e-mail confirmation at the end of his route. I never have received any e-mail communication with Avas, not to mention a confirmation. The next day at her funeral, there were still no flowers. I called Avas again to find out what was going on. They said they didn't know, they took both my cell and home phone number down and told me they would call back when they looked further into this matter. NO PHONE CALL (I waited 2 days). I called back, after allowing for some “Investigation Time” and was told they had confirmation that it had been delivered and when I questioned who signed for them they said, "Well we don't have anyone sign." I told them they were not delivered like they were supposed to be, I had not received any confirmations or communications at all from them and I was not paying for something that had never arrived. They told me the only thing they would do is to credit my Avas Flowers account for a future purchase, but they would not be crediting my credit card. HA! I will never be using this company again, what would store credit do for me? I, sincerely, hope someone takes this comment to heart and never uses Avas Flowers. It broke my heart not to have flowers from my family for my grandmother. I am calling my Credit Card Company and requesting a charge back for services not rendered. Note: I am grudgingly giving Avas a 1 star rating, because it doesn't give me the option of no stars.

Provided by YP.comNEVER use this place! I ordered an arrangement online to be sent to a friend of mine who was going through a tough time. They emailed me telling me the flowers had been delivered and the the delivery time was 12 am.... I figured maybe it was 12pm... I waited till around 5pm to contact my friend to see if she had gotten them and she never received them! I called the company and told them and without asking me any information I was placed on hold and no one ever picked back up. Contacted my credit card to dispute charges! NEVER USE this company def a scam, wish I would have read all these reviews first!

Provided by YP.comOne might as well be talking to the wall when trying to contact "customer service". This is nothing more than an answering service they can't help you with anything, order status, delivery information, wrong item delivered or refund.
There is no other way to get in touch with them. Don't deal with this company it is a scam, in my opinion.

I knew that ordering them the day before may cause a delay in delivery, the website even said they might be delivered in the 15th. I was totally fine with that! After I waited Thursday, Friday and Saturday for my boyfriends arrangement to be delivered I began emailing the company. After blaming the issue on UPS, I again inquired through email about a delivery date. This is the response I received, "Unfortunately, due to a higher than normal call volume, we will have looked into the matter and got the arrangement out for Wendsday 2/22/12. Multiple inquiries on your order delayed our response time and resulted in your matter being placed at the back of the queue. We value your business.
Thank you for your patience."
Hopefully, we get them tomorrow. However, I'm very disappointed and doubt I will even use the "store credit" they gave me.

Provided by YP.comforget it! I ordered a very large funeral arrangement. Prompt acknowledgement from Ava's they got the order, prompt charging my credit card, NO FLOWERS at the funeral.
Probably the most embarrassing thing I've been through in quite a while! I double checked with the funeral home - no flowers arrived. The order was placed 3-4 days prior
to the funeral. Don't bother calling the 877 number - hold, hold, hold.
Stay away from this company! giving one star because this web site wants at least one star clicked.

Provided by YP.comI originally ordered a 24 stem blue orchid bouqet on Valentine's Day for my fiance. What she got was an ugly 8 stem bouqet in an oversized cheap vase. They were green and no one could tell they were orchids. Since I was out of town, my fiance contacted they to complain and they sent out a replacement bouqet that she picked from their website, and it too, looked NOTHING like what they represented on their website. If you look on their website, all the reviews are favorable, which is misleading. I tried to leave a review and it said it will be " submitted for review". Obviously all the reviews on their site are fabricated or picked through. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY. THEY DON'T DELIVER WHAT THEY REPRESENT. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

I was supposed to receive flowers on Valentine's Day of this year. When nothing came, I figured that maybe they were just late. (I had no idea who they were coming from and assumed local.) The person sending the flowers was given an email that said that were delivered at 12AM. Of course, they were not. I even drove around my neighborhood in case they were put on the wrong doorstep. Nothing. I was so very disappointed.
An email was sent the morning of 2/15. Automated reply. Nothing more. Another was sent a day or two late. No reply.
It is now 2/17, 8:15pm. No replies, no flowers. The credit card company is being contacted to return the money spent.

Provided by YP.comI had the same experience as so many people here have.I ordered flowers and ,vase etc. on Monday for my Mom in the hospital.Was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday.No flowers.I called waited at least 30 minutes to get through and then couldn't talk to anyone directly they said about the situation.They would send the message to a manager and they would get back with me.Next day same exact thing.Called again last night and nobody called me back.No flowers.I believe this company is a total scam.Called my credit card company to dispute the charge since I paid for something I never received.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.I usually look up reviews before I do.Unfortunately the time I didn't this is what happened.
