All my issues/concerns were addressed on my tour.

The Hidenwood is beautiful and has everything our family member would need or want! Tayler explained everything extremely well and gave a lovely tour.

It’s bright. We appreciated the lunch – the food was good and the staff was very nice. Zsavonne was very friendly and listened and answered all of our questions.

This was an excellent experience. She did a great tour. I like this place. I did not expect to see all that I saw. I like the tour clients. Zsavonne, very nice person. Will consider if & when I need to.

Ms. Zsavonne answered all my questions, toured me adequately, and took more time than she probably could spare to make sure I learned what I needed and assist my “memory care” family in availability.

The Hidenwood Community is great. I think it's a very kind place. I feel my father is very well taken care of. And the apartment is cute.

I went to The Hidenwood in Newport News. I like that the bedrooms weren't small. They had little suites where they had a little refrigerator, a little living room area, and a little bedroom area. I liked that it was roomy, and it seemed more like a little apartment. I also like that they don't separate the men from the women. They could eat together, and they could do everything together. I like that they mix the genders. They have a bigger facility. They have like three floors, so the patients can get on the elevator and go where they want to go. On the memory care side, when they were eating, they were all talking as they greeted me like, 'Hey, hello.' As I noticed these patients, were interacting with each other, and smiling and greeting the staff. They were all friendly together, and I like that. I looked at the menu and they had choices. They got to pick between three things that they might want to eat, and the food looked pretty good. It was lunchtime, so they were all eating. I also saw somebody in the beauty parlor because they had a hair salon there. I saw the activity calendar like they go out to eat at a restaurant, and go shopping at the store. They had a schedule for when they would go. They have music night, and they have somebody come and do therapy or something.

Zsavonne Was very informative, kind and knowledgeable. Staff was all very pleasant and facility was very clean. Residents seem happy to be here.
