Love the in the moment of Meisner, and love that The Acting Corps gets you through the basics and starts applying in in weeks, not months or years. Everyone on the staff of the school was great, and almost everyone in my glass was awesome.

I'm an LA Local who always wanted to do acting, but my parents were kind of against it. As soon as I turned 18, I went to the most intensive school I could find, and that was The Acting Corps. Love the place, and am almost done with Boot Camp 1. Plan to keep on with my training at this school as I am learning so much and really making up for lost time. Every day is an adventure.

I went to the acting corps, and the training there is huge! So much to take in in so little time. I never missed a class for fear of missing some little gen the teachers provided to us, and there were many. There were some hard moments in Meisner for me- I am a large man and when people speak their truth, it is not easy to hard, but actors gotta deal, and I did, and I am a better actor and a better person for it. Anger hides sadness, but I am not a sad man. The acting corps make me happy.

I've been at The Acting Corps for the better part of a year at this point, and have progressed through their classed and Boot Camps. I love it here, and it's so close to my apartment. An added bonus! But even if you don't live in NoHo, it's worth the drive to study here, and there is plenty of neighborhood parking, The classes are great. I just found the place by chance way backs when, but in case you don't have my luck in stumbling upon something great, do yourself a favor, and check out The Acting Corps!

The Acting Corps is a place for all levels of actors. I knew Meisner beforehand and was allowed (after confirming I did know Meisner) to skip to Boot Camp II, then after went on to the more advanced classes. Every class I took was great, and this is the best thing to happen to me in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles has lots of classes, and I’m sure you are going to look into them on your own, but you should put The Acting Corps on your short list. It’s about the work, not the celebrity endorsements, though they do have some. who has time to check them all out? No one does! That’s why word of mouth is so important. They have classes that are five days a week. They call it Boot Camp because it will get you in shape. Don’t mess around with one day a week programs. Do you want to take a class, and then wait an entire week to apply what you learned? Why drag it out, get in, get it done, and get into the business.

Very, very professional. I took the beginning intensive Bootcamp and I have never had a better teachers. He consistently said very helpful things that helped me perform better. I am so impressed that a place like this exists and surprised that it isn't better known. I was very happy with what I got for the amount of money that I spent.

I started the class in March ...

I started the class in March 2015 after doing some research, and I was NOT disappointed. I learned a lot and I was finally able to get back my groove back after being out of the game for about a year. I took the Boot Camp I class, then Boot Camp II. I say I was able to get back into the groove, but actually I learned things I didn't know before, so I am even more groovy now!

I liked The Acting Corps a lot...

I liked The Acting Corps a lot. I've been in LA for about two years, long enough to know what's going on, but I don't have the system wired yet. I've taken classes pretty much for the entire two years, many different places, and the Acting Corps is the only one I'm writing reviews about. The Acting Corps is the best I've found. The curriculum is great and teachers know how to teach. And I worked every day, never did I just sit and watch other act.

The Acting Corps is one of the most supportive places to study around, but not in a coddling sort of way. Beginning with a warm and friendly environment, the teachers never insult their students intelligence. They have an excellent way of communicating with students, and turning them into amazing actors.

Came here after having a bad experience with a very well know and very expensive teacher. Night and day. Loved this place. Worked every class. Great teachers. Don't believe the hype about "celebrity teachers." It's about the work, and you will work at The Acting Corps!

I began taking Boot Camp I classes as The Acting Corps about a year ago. The instructors were fantastic and helped my growing acting career. Since then, I've booked movie and television roles. They gave me the tools I needed to excel in my auditions, and on sat after I got the roles.

I spent a summer there, and besides the Cali life and living with no money and the shirt off your back, the corps was fulfilling all on it's own. The greatest thing I took from the demanding process, was emotional connection. And once you hit it, it will break you down. I've gone on to take roles that, without my training there, I would have never been aware or even know how to dig deep, really deep.

I took a beginners acting class here, called Boot Camp. I had never really had done acting outside of my school plays, but I loved the process, and I wanted to go somewhere with it. I'm pretty outgoing, and the Acting Corps team was so great at making me feel welcome and comfortable. We learned fundamental techniques, Meisner, and so much more.

I work as a waiter at night, so I was happy to find such a great class that has a program five days a week. The Boot Camp program is great! I'm in Boot Camp II now, learned so much in part I. I'm getting a ton of callbacks by using the skills I learned. I'm so busy, but I love it. If only there were more hours in the day. Or even better, if I could quit my job. Some day I will, and it will be in large part because of the Acting Corps.

A place for dedicated actors only. I love how they do not tolerate people showing up late and not doing the work. I know some people don't like this, but if you want to work in this business, you can't be doing that sh!t. I also loved the Meisner they teach, a version that gets you to the meat of the technique quicker then other places. Great.

I find it very haard to put into words what working with the Acting Corps has meant to me. I am in my late twenties, and I know that the career of an actress can be shorter then a man, so I want to get to it ASAP. The Acting Corps is an intensive program that does not waste time. I am SO glad I did not go to a Meisner school that takes years to even get you started, I don't have time for that bunk. I'm not where I want to be career-wise, but I will be, I know it.

When you're looking for a school to take classes at, other than word of mouth from someone you trust, there is no easy way. I am new to town, so I don't have any trusted friends yet. I had heard the Acting Corps from someone I didn't really know, so I did my research. I read a lot of good things, and then there were some haters online too. So I went to meet them in person, and I liked the place. I decided to make the leap, and i was the right choice, I loved them. So now I am writing a review so maybe other people will read it and realize that is is a great school.

I have been to many acting classes in and around Los Angeles, and because there are so many, a lot of good, lots of bad, it's hard to know which one will be a good for you.

Having now been to The Acting Corps, I can tell you with no doubt in my mind that I am more confident in my abilities as an actor. I am more prepared for auditions. This school is a must try for any actor in search of a great place to learn.
