We love bringing our cars to Independent because they are honest and always get the job done quickly.

I appreciated the pleasant atmosphere and thorough service - even a small repair at no charge! I think the cost was reasonable and options were explained clearly before repairs were done. I'll be back!

I've done business with Camarillo Independent for at least 10 years. I've always been very happy with the work they've done and their integrity in taking care of first, my Integra, and now my Honda. Thank you Camarillo Independent for always going the "extra mile".

I have been a happy customer since the early 1980's. The service is always excellent. The staff is very professional and quite friendly. Both my wife and I are pleased with the service and response to our needs.

This place always does the job right for us on our cars , and they are very knowledgeable and honest . I have confidence when I take my vehicles there , that it will be repaired right and at a fair cost .

Had a brake problem on my Dodge. Glad these guys went through the trouble of finding the right part as it turned out to be elusive. I didn't mind waiting another day to get the right part. It would have been a nightmare if I tried the repair myself so I was glad I had these experts do it.

The staff is always very courteous and helpful making it a pleasant experience to bring my car in for service.

I needed an oil change. I went in to see about an appointment. They were able to take me right away and do it while I waited. This really helped my day.

I don't know if I've been getting lucky for the past 20 years of excellent service from Cam. Independent, or if people like me are just too busy to post reviews (probably the latter). I've been using them since before they moved out of their tiny shop under the freeway.

This summer I had a nearly $2,000 maintenance job done on my Acura. They did great work and had it ready quickly. They are friendly at the counter and offer to take me to work and pick me up, etc. Good communication about repairs needed and cost options. Often they tell me I can wait a while on a repair that is not urgent.

Over the years, whenever I have shopped their repair bids, they have always been low. So I don't even bother anymore. I've even purchased tires from them for a good price (yes, I compared to Costco). I've had several cars in here over the years and never had a problem. They don't just do Hondas, they did many repairs on a 40 year old 240z I had too.

My family has been taking our cars to Bret since he was "Independent Honda" on Lewis Rd. I've been taking my cars to him since at least 2000 and now bring my fiancé's car as well. Bret is a great owner and very loyal. He's understanding and very thorough when describing problems, wear issues and everything else.

Reading some of the past reviews, these people seem to be angry about a vehicle's wear/tear and blaming the issues on Bret and his staff. But that's what happens when you drive a vehicle, it wears down...

Bret and his staff are friendly and helpful. Don't let these past reviews sway you from taking your vehicle here. Those reviewers seem delusional, misinformed and are likely projecting their frustrations on Bret about a vehicle's normal wear/tear and maintenance.

Keep on keeping on Bret. I'll be bringing my vehicle's here for years to come.

Engine was missing irregularly. Quick and correct diagnosis led to a timely repair. Also caught up on routine maintenance, and the engine runs perfectly again. Camarillo Independent is great.

Took my old Honda in for a smog check on my lunch break. I had been dreading the smog check & expecting to soend a chuck of my day waiting & then having to make up lost work time. I was back at work about an hour after leaving my desk!! Fantastic & friendly service. Fair prices. I will be using them in the future for regular maintenance.

I've been coming to Camarillo Independent since 1983, when it was just a little 2-bay service and repair shop (formerly B&G Honda Repair) on Lewis Road and must say that Cam Indy provides world class automotive service w/ reasonable prices ! The staff is very curtious, knowledgable and professional. Over the years that i've been a customer, i've had new engines installed in multiple vehicles, along with transmission work, power steering work and numerous smog checks, brake jobs and oil & filter changes. I won't let any other repair shops turn wrenches on any of my vehicles.....Camarillo Independent is number #1 in Ventura County !

The repair technicians are well trained in all types of repairs on all types of auto models. Forthright and clear explanation is given on the maintenance for your auto. It is an independent shop that is family owned by very friendly and personable office staff. No repair is too small for this shop.

I had requested a Monday appointment but had to call and reschulde for Tuesday. Was able to do that and work was done by the time I needed it. Staff is ready and able to answer any and all questions as to your car and making run well. Thanks
