I have taken my car to Camarillo Independent for various issues, mainly engine light, and I've always had a great experience at this shop. Cars are computers on wheels now a days and according to my husband, engines run hotter these days by design. With all of the crazy sensors and electronics, these guys have it together in fixing it right. I've never had a bad experience there. I've taken my car to the dealer and every invoice was a jaw dropper! Who knows where parts are made these days but I believe they get good parts for half the price of a dealer. The technicians at this shop work hard. I see then moving pretty fast around the shop working on cars.

Always good service. We've been taking our cars to Camarillo Independent for years, and never unhappy with the service. As I have a high mileage luxury car, I depend on them even more for preventative maintenance. Prices IMO are very fair. The only thing lacking is coffee for waiting customers.

I brought my 2000 Accord in for a timing belt and water pump as a preventative maintenance due to the age of the car, not mileage. I also thought I wanted to do a couple more things, but the owner told me "I could do it for you; but honestly, I can count on one hand the number of times I have had to replace what you are asking for. Trust me, you don't need to do this." Job was done fast and at a fair price. I had complete confidence in the work. As far as mechanics go, I have no problems recommending them. My 2006 Accord will go ins shortly for the same service.

These folks are very good to work with. You never want to hear that something is wrong with your car and that its going to cost so much to fix. But they explain why and at a fair price.

I recently had major repair work done on my older model Camry. I had a head gasket replaced, along with other smaller miscellaneous service work. Holly and John's attitude, help, work and empathy were all appreciated. The cost was reasonable. I found this business through a friend's referral. Now, just a month later....I'm even more pleased. No issues. My car has never run better! At last I've found a local car repair place with reasonable rates, great people and great service. Keep up the good work!

We have taken all our cars here for many years and have never had anything but excellent service. I highly recommend them. Great people to work with and their prices are very fair.
