I just want to make others aware of my experience so you can make a better educated decision on your next vehicle purchase. We traded in two perfectly function vehicles and paid over 20K for 2012 Volkswagen Routan. (yeah I know we paid too much but we were out of options at the time being)

Since this was a used vehicle, we paid extra for the extended warranty. Two months after we bought this vehicle, it left my family stranded on the road due to a busted radiator and bad hoses. The repair was not covered under the extended warranty so I was stuck paying for the tow as well as the labor and repair. Four months later we refinance the vehicle and purchased gap insurance through the new financer. We went to the dealership and put in a request to cancel our gap insurance because we refinanced and have gap through somebody else now. A month later the van leaves my family stranded on the road again! This time it is the starter, it won’t budge. I called the extended warranty and they told me it was canceled a month ago. So the dealership canceled the gap that I approved but they also canceled the extended warranty without my approval. So we have to pay for a new starter. Also when we purchased this vehicle we were promised two keys, we only received one. After months of complaining, still nothing has been done. If it was any ordinary key I would have one made myself but it is some kind of electronic transponder key that costs around 200 bucks. I’ve contacted the better business bureau for assistance. This dealership has been very dishonest with me, I am very disappointed and I will never do business with Carl Gregory again.

Purchased 2 vehicles from Carl Gregory, 2014 Charger & 2014 Ram 1500. Salesman Joe Bryant was great. Very polite and professional. Sales staff was nice but attempted to get us to pay more than we agreed on when we got into finance office (on both occasions). As long as you pay attention to your numbers the dealership was great.

We bought a 2012 Jeep Patriot on July 6th from Carl Gregory and I have to say it was the best and easiest time we have ever had looking for a vehicle. We started in the new cars and worked our way over to the used lot, while walking around we were asked if we needed anything, when we replied with “No thanks, just looking” the staff respected us enough and let us be to look at our own pace without hovering near by or right on top of us. When it came time to find some more information and test drive (the Jeep we bought), they were easy to find, knew their stuff, and very very friendly! When it came down to the business side of buying a car, we were given a great deal, so good we could not walk away. Overall was a great experience. The sales assoiciates we dealt with, Sean and Patrick were great. I enjoyed working with them, however didn't enjoy the finance office guy Dewayne. He just wanted the money and you out of his office as quick as possible iot seemed, but everyone else was great to deal with. We bought a used Dodge Magnum over 3 months ago and has been a great car so far. Thank Carl Fregory associates!
