I had the best experience with Carl Gregory buying my new Jeep! I owe it all to my dealer, Tony. He really took car of everything and made it all so easy! Not only that but he went above and beyond to ensure I had a better experience this time! More cars would be sold if all salesman paid as much attention to their customers needs! I would definitely recommend you ask for Tony if you plan to buy from this dealership!

My new van

I bought a Town and Country van. Tony was my salesman and he made the process very quick and easy! He was able to answer all of my questions and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a vehicle.

I recently bought a Jeep Patriot there and was very pleased with the experience. The salesman by the name of Tony went above and beyond expectations in helping me find what I want and even went a little extra with helping me get the tires I wanted with another gentleman who was looking to trade. Tony talked us through the entire process and did everything to get me the best price for it. My wife and I have bought 2 jeeps now from there in the past 3 months and when we are ready to trade or upgrade Tony will be the first person we go to for sure!

Just bought 2 vehicles and leased another from Garry at Carl Gregory and I have to say it was a great experience! Garry took the time to make sure the cars we bought met all our family needs and we found him to be very professional and caring.

I will say the service dept was a little "different" when we brought our cars back for the first complementary oil change we stood in the service area for like 5 mins before anyone even looked up and asked if we needed help. I wish the service people were as eagar to please as garry was but overall would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a vehicle. 4 stars!!

I would tell my friends to avi...

I would tell my friends to aviod this dealership at all costs. I have attempted to purchase from them two times. Both times they lied outright to me, decieved me with every word, and tried to steal my vehicle. the first time we had made a deal for my to purchase a 2004 Caddy SRX with a trade of a 2009 Saturn Sky. I was leary for the deal until I showed the SRX to my wife (it was to be her vehicle). they told me to drive it off the lot and show her I had to sign some papers, I asked if there was any commitment to these papers and was told by sales clerk and financial manager there was no commitment. When i returned the vehicle with a decision not to buy per my wife's input they informaed me I had signed a contract to buy. A commitment! When I informaed them I was not going to buy and would not sign any financial papers they informed me, "The decision is yours, but due to the paper you signed you wikll not get your trade back...." Luckily I had not given them my trade vehicle and was driving my truck. I believe in second chances, though with this company I should not have. the second instance I settled on a deal for a 2008 Sebring, there were multiple lies told to me this time. 1st they told me the vehicle had never been in an accident, later I find out it had been in a multicar accident with damage to the front and rear of the vehicle. 2nd we agreed to a $1600.00 downpayment, though we agreed for payments to be made, they said 30 days and I told them from the beginning I did not want to put a down payment but if they extended it over payments I agreed. at this point Frankie told me "we can work with you", I told him at that point I could do the payments but it would not all be within 30 days it could take upwards to 2-3 months, he told me, "thats no problem, the financial manager works with people with those same terms" i made the 1st payment about 2 weeks later of $500.00, and when the 30 day mark came I called and told them the next payment would be there the following monday (3 fays later). Frankie informaed me "they were not going to work with you any more, the financial managers want the full amount paid, " I told them we had an agreement and I would pay the payment the following monday, he then told me "that does not work, you are contracted for the $1600.00 and it was due at signing bring the money, in full, by monday or we will take legal action". I took the payment i had in and they refused it under the regards of taking me to court. this dealership lies and cheats and not just one case, both times i gave them a chance they lied to me. their saes persons lie, their financial manager lies, the main manager seemed nice but refuses to deal with customers. if you dont mind liers then dodge jeep and such are good vehicle but i would advise to find them elsewere.

Worst dealer experience ever!!...

Worst dealer experience ever!!! Looked at a '06 Mazda 6 with light hail damage that was on clearance. A salesman, Andy, said they would knock off several thousand. I test drove the car and really liked it. However, when we got back to the dealership there was another salesman waiting. As soon as I got out of the Mazda he tried to talk me into several other cars. I said I was only interested in the Mazda repeatedly; only to be ignored! Finally, after I practically yelled, the original salesman came back and said to come inside to deal with the Mazda. After waiting forever, the used car manager came to us and refused to knock off the "several thousand" as had been stated. He tried to sell us a severely hail damaged car with 100,000 miles for $9,000!!! It even had previous wreck damage on the driver side door panel. I was willing to fix the cosmetic problems but only if the price was good. I, politely, told the manager I wouldn't pay that much and he became so angry he not only smarted off at me but wadded up the sales paper and threw it on the floor at my feet!!!!! Needless to say, we didn't purchase a car from them. What kind of dealership are they running?! First, they refuse to sell you the car you want then throw paper at you!! This dealership was the rudest, rip off con artists I had ever seen. Buyer's beware. This dealer needs to go out of business.

Yo-Yo Scam Champs...

I went to Carl Gregory in October 2011 at about 6 that evening. I looked at car and went in to fill out paperwork. After waiting for about an hour, the salesman came back and told me that I could get the car I wanted so he showed me another. It was fine so I test drove while they valued my trade. Came back to complete the paperwork and asked about my trade because the payments seemed to jump about $75 from what I was originally told. I was told the car was a wash but wasn't told they actually valued my trade at $1000 below what they quoted me. So now its about 8 pm that same day, I was the only customer left but it took them an hour to "read" over my paperwork. Once in the financial office, I was ready to go. Left there at 9:30 and was told it was good. I had an uneasy feeling about it because no bank was open when I left. The next day I found a different car online at another dealership and decided to review my paperwork from CG. Sure enough, no bank was listed on the sale, no bank access. The sale wasnt final. Tried calling the salesman but he was off. Called the other dealer instead and set up a deal. Ok so Thursday, two days later, CG salesman called at 530 to tell me the bank came back with a higher payment and needed some paperwork from me and to come back in. Told him I would think about it. Friday now... Salesman called, told him I wasnt going to follow the terms and was returning the car. He then yelled at me, threatened me with repossesing the car (which I didn't own) and told me the sale was final (which it wasn't). I went to the other dealership who followed me to CG because they read over the paperwork and saw too that the sale wasn't final. When I got to CG I was yelled at by the salesman and sales manager. Argued with because I demanded the name of the bank but they refused to give it to me. Their reason was that the bank doesn't give out their phone number (seriously) and that I would receive it in the mail with my payment booklet (surprise). The real reason was because there wasnt one. After arguing with them for about 20 minutes and being yelled at, in front of other customers, I left there without my original car (which the refused to give back to me). The next day, Saturday, I ended up having to have police escort up to CG to return their car for proof that of why iI was leaving it there, and I did. I left their car there and left without my confiscated trade. Ended up having to get my attorney involved to get my trade back that Tuesday because they were mad that someone figured them out. Moral is read all the paper work because these guys are Yo Yo Scamming experts. I won my battle with them but it never should have gotten that far.

We just left this dealership t...

We just left this dealership this evening. At first the salesman was wonderful and extremely helpful. While waiting to purchase a new van, my husband actually said he would come back to purchase the 4 door Jeep he had been wanting. My in laws were also excited because they will be purchasing a new vehicle soon and wanted to visit this dealership also. We were given a price and started the paperwork for it. We had a pre approval check from our bank in hand to purchase. They asked to see it and I let them (even though I was feeling uneasy about this). I looked at the salesman (Wilfred or something similar) and asked him if they were going to raise the price because our check was a little above the amount. He promised no. However, they came back in and said they had done the rebates wrong and would need the whole amount of my check plus 250. We tried to leave and then they said they would honor the price since it was their "mistake". Then another man came in and said they would just knock off the 250 but take the whole check. Upon that shadiness, we left and will not be back. Congrats guys, over one thousand dollars, you lost 3 sales (and probably more by the time I get through telling everyone I know my story). God bless you!

Went to look at a used vehicle...

Went to look at a used vehicle and told him what we were looking for, size, price, etc., he only dealt in how much the payments would be, which were outlandish. He wouldn't tell us how much the interest is either. We were just another number. We told him what we were looking for and he said he would let us know and that's been about 90 days now.

As far as their auction vehicles taken locally, buyer beware, while many vehicles had disclosed information, the vehicle bought from Carl Gregory did not, in fact they didn't say a word. First thing the window was broken, the next day it went in the shop for a water pump and timing belt. Bad practice.

My daughter went to Carl Grego...

My daughter went to Carl Gregory yesterday and was shown a van that she really liked (used), she put in for the financing and said she could put 1500.00 down and make payments on the rest, plus she had a van to use as a trade in.... because the banks were closing they said that in order for her to hold the van, she would have to put 500.00 down and if the financing was not approved she could get it back... well that is not what happened, the salesman (Steve) called her tonight and said the bank came back with another offer, 2400.00 down and payments of 350+ with the trade in..... and by the way if you don't want this then the 500.00 you put down is non refundable... HELLO, the bank refused the first set of terms, not her... they are gonna take 500.00 from a single working mother of 4 kids???? Does not sound right to me!!! Sounds to me like they have a hell of a racket going on there!!! SHADY SHADY SHADY! They ought to be ashamed of themselves! (PS I bought and paid for 3 vehicles from Carl Gregory over the years and I will NEVER recommend them or buy from them again!

Had to get a car fast and reli...

Had to get a car fast and reliable. Went to a couple dealerships and they were wanting to run my credit and didn't want me to pay cash for the vehicle. Stopped by Carl Gregory and as soon as I hit the lot someone was there greeting me and basically cut up and made me feel relaxed and at home. Test drove the vehicle, even saw the car fax on it, they didn't pressure me into buying it or even cared that I was paying cash for it and not financing through them. They detailed it which made it look amazing also put gas in the vehicle and handed me the keys. When I got home I had a message waiting for me on my answering machine thanking me for the business and also making sure I got home alright.

I've already refered a couple friends and some family members to them and they all had similiar experiences. I would highly recommend them to anyone who asked me.

DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!!

I have dealed with these people twice and both times they have riped me off. The first time I bought a car off them they called me back in less than a week and said the bank would not finance the car because the price was to much. Well they then put me in a car that the bank would approve. Two years later I had totaled the car and went back to get another on from them because they said they could put us in something. Yea they put me in something alright but then 2 weeks later they called me and said we needed to return the car because we needed a co signer. They have done this to me twice and this last time broke me now I am walking because I dont have a ride. ANYBODY WHO STUGGLES WITH CREDIT PROBLEMS OR HAS NOT CREDIT DONT GO HERE THEY GIVE YOU FALSE HOPE BY PUTTING YOU IN SOMETHING THEN ONCE YOU GET USE TO IT THEY CALL YOU AND TELL YOU TO BRING IT BACK. THEN YOU WILL BE WALKING!!!!!!

THUMBS WAY DOWN!!!!!!!

Me and my boyfriend went to Carl Gregory to buy a 2008 dodge charger. This was the last place we tried to find the car we wanted and sure enough we found it. Well were both young, have good credit just not a lot of it, and we told them that before they ever pulled our credit histories! Well they come back after we dealt with the price and told us they got us the financing and at a really good interest rate and a payment we could afford. As we were leaving my boyfriend asked them, your sure you got the bank to go through? and the sales man said OH YEA I don't deal with people I cant get financed. So we left with the car happy as could be. That was a Saturday the following Wednesday we get a call from them saying they didn't get it and we needed a co-signer. OK by this point I was already mad! We got a co-signer, my mother, and they approved her but because of circumstances beyond her control she had to back out. So we went back to the car lot for the 3rd time and the finance guy Duane laughed at my moms financial situation this really made me mad. But he told us to try and go to East man credit union the sales man had already been there and all we had to do was go take check stubs and they would know weather they could approve us or not. So we went to the bank and they said no they had never even heard of our sales man.!!!!! So we went back to the car lot to get our old car back and our sales man acted mad but we were mad as well they had guaranteed us the car and now we had to give it back!!! We sat down and when he was pulling up our paper work my boyfriend said you should give us some gas in the old car because we have been through all of this mess, he then said "NO WE CAN"T DO THAT!" and we said well we have both missed work and had to stay late at our jobs for coming out here every day. To that he responded " I work until 9 every night and I've worked my .... off all week trying to get this deal. Ive lost other customers" Like it was our fault that he had given us a car with no financing to it. Who does that! So we put 1000 miles on a car and didn't have to pay for it!!!!! NEVER DEAL WITH THIS PLACE SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!!!!!! THE SALES MEN, OR THE ONE WE DELT WITH, DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING IF YOU WANT A CAR YOU GET TO KEEP DON'T DEAL WITH THEM THE FINANCE MAN DUANE WAS THE RUDEST MAN I HAVE EVER DELT WITH!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVEN LOOK AT ANOTHER CAR FROM THIS LOT AND MY ADVICE IS DON'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
