Michael Robertson with Collins came out to service our heat pump & did an excellent job while being the friendly person that he is. A few days later I called Collins to report that there was water coming down off the roof so they sent Michael back to check things out. Again as always very friendly & helpful. Nothing was wrong, it was the condensation coming off from the weather temp changing in the morning from cold to warm. We weren't charged for the inspection & was told they want us to call if something doesn't seem right like that to make sure all is well. We continue to recommend Collins Comfort Masters & thank Michael for the very good job he does in taking care of our heat pump.

A year ago we came home from a trip to find our nearly new AC unit running but not cooling and it was about 110 degrees in the house. Collins Comfort masters were out within hours; had it working and the house cooled down before we went to bed that night. We have regular check-ups (AC spring and furnace in fall) with Collins and they are always prompt, courteous, clean up after themselves and perhaps, best of all are well trained and knowledgeable technicians. Dave D. did our check today and was efficient and very professional. Thanks.

Cameron came out and fixed a perplexing plumbing issue in our home. We have one of those circulating pumps for hot water and ours was not doing its job. Cameron not only diagnosed the problem but in his repair he went above and beyond the call of duty and installed an additional check valve which was missing from our hot water setup. He took the old part apart to make sure it was defective and took the time to show me. He also helped with a misbehaving faucet. We will have Collins send Cameron back out to replace the faucet when I get a new one from the manufacturer. Good people are hard to come by. Collins has some very good ones.

I just had my AC system checked out prior to use by Collins Comfort Masters tech John Lopez. He did a great job. He called prior to his arrival. He was polite and professional. I can now use my AC with confidence. That means a lot to me. Thank you CCM!

Anthony, Dan, Karl, and Jordan installed 2 A/C and heating units in my house. They arrived on time and completely finished the work ahead of schedule. They were fantastic and did a great job. They provided suggestions on how to optimize the operation of the units and gave detailed instructions on setting up the use of the units. The work area was cleaned up and everything was taken care or before they left. Great job. I would highly recommend Collins Comfort Masters for your A/C or heating needs.

A couple of years ago I replaced three of my four A/C heat pump systems. Collins was chosen then and since we have had them service the systems every year. Each spring they come to the house and thoroughly evaluate and optimize the systems performance. Sure we have had parts replaced, some under warranty and some added because the system would operate better with the improved parts. In each case Collins Comfort Masters has explained the issue, has resolved the issue, and has provided an acceptable result. The lennox systems have performed better than expected. We have been very happy! Dave Dunbar has been helping us for the past couple years and we have been very happy with the level of service and professionalism. I have also been recommending Collins Comfort Masters for years due to their consistently fair dealings with me.

First of all, my wife and I had used Collins Comfort Masters in the past to replace an AC unit on a home in North Phoenix. They had done a great job, and had been recommended by two of my family members. I got three quotes, including theirs, to replace two AC/furnace units on a house we purchased in 10/2017 prior to other work do be done on the house prior to moving in at the end of 11/2017. The quote from Collins Comfort was $8000 more than one of the competitors, who also came highly recommended. I asked if they could be more competitive, and they offered to lower the price by approximately $4000. The furnace/air handler in the garage also needed the platform underneath it cleaned out and rebuilt due to water damage, recommended by the very reputable home inspection company prior to our purchase of the home. I confirmed with Hector G multiple times in person and on the phone that this was included in the price. It was unfortunately not specifically written in the proposal. We decided to go with Collins Comfort despite paying $4000 more due to our comfort with their company and given they would also fix the platform as above, which the other companies would not do.
On the day of install, I returned home from work in the early afternoon to find them finishing up with the job. My wife had been home for most of the morning while they were there. I discovered that there was Filibertos food on the kitchen counter, which they did clean up before leaving. No installers were wearing booties, and there were no coverings on the carpet at that time. Earlier, both Hector G and my wife confirmed that they had covered only some of the carpets, but not all of the carpet that they walked on or transported equipment and materials. I overheard a worker say “F---ing stairs” from another room. After they left, I immediately noticed a huge area of oil stains and drops on the carpet, with tracking of it throughout many areas of the house. This was new carpet. I immediately notified Hector. They did not get a carpet cleaning company to the house until 5 days later to try to clean the carpet, but did verbally say the carpet would be replaced if they could not get the stains out. Meanwhile, I also discovered on close inspection that the platform was not cleaned out and rebuilt as agreed previously.
They did end up redoing the platform as we agreed, but denied that it was ever part of the agreement (of which I had no written proof), which was an insult to my integrity. I also had them redo a gas feed line connection on their install which was not up to code. I did not get written confirmation that they would replace the carpets if unable to get the stains out until over 2 weeks after install. They tried to have them cleaned one more time. They did eventually get the carpet replaced about 9 weeks after the install of the AC units.
All in all, Collins Comfort Masters did eventually follow through with their agreements and repair the damage they caused, but it was a disaster of events that held up projects on our house, held up our move-in date, caused us to have to move things out to get the carpets replaced, and caused countless hours of stress and wasted time over many days and weeks in documenting everything and staying on various people to make sure things were done correctly and repaired. My honesty was also insulted during the process, which was perhaps the most frustrating. Also, we paid about $4000 dollars more for this install than we would have with another company.
I still think this can be a good company to use, but suggest the following recommendations:
1. Get multiple quotes and have the companies compete for your job.
2. Get EVERYTHING in writing, especially if there are any specifics in your job that are a little out of the ordinary.
3. Be there during install and monitor them so you...

Just had our A/C annual tune-up. We couldn't be happier...knowing it is working great and now, more energy efficient. Thank you Dave Dunbar - for your hard work, courteous and professional manner. Great Job !

Thank you so much for helping with our broken water heater... When you have no hot water, the world can be a cold dark place... 11 stars our of 10, 6 smiley faces out of 5 and two thumbs up for the service and attention to detail. Bill made sure that the old plumbing was replaced so the new water heater would not be working with old hookups (that part was also very messy but Bill made it right), went the extra mile to make the install look great too, not just functional... He showed up on time, kept me informed as to what was to happen, what happened and followed after the install. The appointment and sales team were also very helpful to solve this issue. Pricing was great... saved me money... I've had several air conditioning/plumbing issues with this home and other homes over the years and Collins has been and is my 'go to' team. The equipment has been very efficient, saving us money in the long run... Thank you. (ps their maintenance programs are very good also; I use them too)...

we have been using Collins Comfort for approximately 30 years and have never been disappointed with not only the semi-annual service (under their contract) and the installation of two units a few years ago.

Had to replace 2 air conditioners that were 18 years old. Salesman Garrett explained by drawing a picture of how an air conditioner works to explain why I needed to place the gas furnaces too. He then went into the attic to take pictures of the furnaces and went outside to see the old conditioners. Signed the contract and the team was there at 7:45 am the next day. Could have been earlier, but I requested a little later. Once Justin introduced himself he assured me they wouldn't leave a mess. I've never seen service people work together as a team like Justin G., Tyler H., Daniel, Angel, Dan L, and Carlos did. Heard lots of tools working and looks of job related conversation. Clearly they were working together. They left at 2 with both units working and everything cleaned up and in place. Never experienced such positive service. AWESOME JOB TEAM!

I recently had 2 new ac units installed by Collins, and it was a very positive experience. There people are very professional and know what they are doing. The installation team was fast and thorough. One week after the installation, a switch went out and a technician came out within a couple of hours. He found the problem right away and then conducted a lengthy follow-up visit to make sure everything was running as it should.

Collins Comfort / Costco Purchase and Installation: What a professional and pleasant purchase and Installation experience. Randy Wilcox delivered all the attention needed to quote multiple configurations and helped me appreciate the Costco purchasing process On the deliver and installation side, Justin G, Daniel A and Angel provided the most professional installation I have experienced in 30+ years. These guys are pure artists installing the two systems and we very courteous and professional. If you want the best new system experience, definitely go the Collins Comfort / Costco way !!!

Just had a new....Collins Comfort Master......Heat Pump and Air Handler installed on 4/26/2017. I could not have been more impressed with the installation Technicians....Angel, Boomer and Karl. They were knowledgeable, courteous and preformed with pride and integrity. Also thanks to Randy and Anthony. I have already recommended "Collins Comfort Masters" to a neighbor.

I was looking for 4 replacement central air conditioners for a fourplex that I own. I stopped by the Air Conditioning booth at Costco, and signed up for an appointment for a quote. 3 days later, on a Wednesday, Garrett from Collins Comfort Masters came to my property. He explained the solution he was proposing for my property (replacing gas packs with Lennox heat pumps), how the work would be done, exactly what it would cost, and how they would be installed. After receiving quotes from 2 other companies, I decided to go with Costco / Collins Comfort. Installation was promptly scheduled for the following Monday.
The installers showed up right on time. Daniel, Javier, Armondo, and Chris B explained what they were going to do, and promptly set about their work. They were friendly, professional, willing to entertain my questions and accommodate my requests. All 4 units were installed by 3:00 pm. They invited me up on the roof to inspect the finished product. I found the work was done in an excellent fashion – I was truly impressed.
From the booth at Costco to the sales call to the installation, every contact was professionally and superbly done. I highly recommend Costco/Collins Comfort Masters for your air conditioning needs.
